As a Production Machine Operator, you are responsible for the setup department of snack production lines. You set up, operate and monitor production equipment, ensuring that all necessary materials and machinery are available and operating according to the prescribed procedures. This is a full-time position in a 2-shift system, with working hours from 06:00 to 15:00 and from 15:00 to 00:00, depending on the production schedule.

Responsibilities

This means that you will check if the correct ones are present:

Raw materials.
Packing materials.
Human resources.

Additionally, you will be responsible for the proper setup, adjustment and start-up of the production line. During production, you will monitor the operation of the machines and adjust parameters such as speed or temperature when necessary.

You will also check the products produced for:

Product quality.
Weight.
Quantities.
Visual appearance.
Product shape.

You will record production data, such as quality, quantities and technical condition of equipment, following work instructions and company procedures.

The work is carried out based on a daily production schedule, which determines which product will be produced.

Each production line has an installation diagram that clearly shows which machines are required and in which order they should be assembled.

You will assemble the production line according to this plan and then check that everything is clean and correctly positioned. Once the inspection is complete and approved, the line begins operation.

This position comes with a high level of responsibility. You are personally responsible for:

The correct installation of the production line.
Carrying out checks and inspections.
Maintaining a safe and clean production process.

The installation and inspection process takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. Then production begins and you ensure that the products are processed correctly and meet all quality standards.

Candidate Profile

You are proactive and quality-oriented.
You have technical knowledge or 2 years of experience in a similar role.
You have a hands -on mentality.
You collaborate effectively with colleagues.
You are willing to work in a 2-shift system.
You have experience in the food industry.
You have a good command of the English language.
Driver’s license holder B.
You have a Greek identity card or a European passport (the Greek identity card must have been issued within the last 5 years and must not have any damage).

The Company Offers

Fixed salary €17.50 gross per hour (+112.50% shift allowance).
15 days of ATV , which corresponds to approximately 40 days of leave per year.
8% vacation allowance.
Annual bonus 3%.

Work clothing is provided by the company.
Let us provide a home as close to work as possible. We offer a private room in a home with your colleagues. The rental cost is around €200 – €210 per week and includes water, electricity, gas and internet.
We take care of the transportation by finding a car for you (either personal or shared with your roommates).
Covered travel expenses to and from work (fuel card).
We will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your new home.
We will help you apply for your RNI (tax number) and Dutch healthcare insurance.
The respective employment contract is signed one day before your departure for the Netherlands (it is in English).
